A center summer camp at Kulsø Spejdercenter is a week-long intense scouting camp focusing on new scouting experiences, new scout companions and camp hogs.

Nature provides the framework for the vast majority of activities that you can choose at the center. Before the camp, we select your favorites, and based on these, we organize the camp.

There is an opportunity to plunge into a variety of lake activities on Kulsø and Nedersø, which directly border the camp. The forge allows sparks to fly around your ears, and on the nature tour you can find carnivorous plants. In the creative workshop there is an opportunity to let inspiration fly freely. And from the treetops you can get the full view of the place.
All activities are led by a nail, in cooperation with the group leaders, so you as leaders can concentrate on being present with your scouts.
Prepayment approximately 50% and final settlement are made at the camp and paid within 14 days of the camp.
The price covers meals from Saturday morning to Monday lunch, space rental, activities and a Kulsø brand. Remember to pack a lunch for Friday night.
Registration is done by writing an email to aktivitet@kulso.dk
If you have any questions, you are welcome to write to the same email.
In the center summer camp, activities are split between Mikro/Mini, Junior, and Trop/Senior participants. There is something for every soul and we choose together what is of greatest interest during the camp.
When we take the micro and mini scouts on the lake, it takes place in a canoe or self-built rice boat. If you choose a trip on the lake in a canoe, you get the opportunity to see the area around Kulsø in a whole new way. When the Scouts of this age group are going on the lake, there must be a leader in each canoe or rice boat.
If the weather is right, the activity can be combined with a swim at the Little Belt. All activities at the lake take place in a life jacket.
Activity periods: 1-2
Max. quantity: 25 by/on the lake
Bring: Clothes that may get wet.
When the micros and minis are going on a run, there are several different options. Most of our races can be customized so that you can complete the whole race or part of it depending on your desire and effort. It is recommended that you take on only one type of run during the camp.
Photo races: How good are you at remembering? The photo race contains a series of pictures of some of the characteristic places on Kulsø, the scouts' task now is to take a picture exactly like that.
Geocaching: Turn on the GPS and you're off to treasure hunting. Get around the area in a fun way and learn how to use a GPS.
O-race: If you have the courage to challenge yourself at the orienteering, it may be you or your patrol who must beat the Kulsø record.
Period of activity: 1
Bring: Depending on the type of race, you will bring a compass, camera/mobile phone and possibly. GPS (Limited number of available in Kulsø)
We take a trip in Kulsø's amazing surroundings, and use all our senses to experience the nature around us. Depending on your interest, we can visit the mysterious troll forest, the magical birch grove or the wondrous hanging sack, where if we are lucky, we can take a closer look at Kulsø's carnivorous plants. We're looking at insects by lake and on land, and maybe we can find some edible plants.
Period of activity: 1
Max. quantity: Optimal max. 20
Bring: Shoes that are allowed to get wet and a filled drinking bottle.
We challenge the normal camp food, and plunge into cooking in different ways. Here is the opportunity to study what a fish looks like inside, try to bake pizza over an open fire or maybe we need to get hold of our Dutch Ovens. In addition, we try to spice up the food with a little goodies from the forest.
Period of activity: 1-2
Bring: The group buys in for the food activity itself, in agreement with the nailers. If fish is desired, this must be agreed 2 days before the activity (possibly before the camp).
In the forest we do a variety of activities on ropes strung up between the trees. In the ropeway activity, we use the whole body when we have to try to get through the different climbing lanes. The track, which consists of two ropes one above the other, is strung up between several trees at a low height above the ground, and the difficulty level can be changed along the way. We also set up a slackline, where it is possible to train balance and coordination.
Period of activity: 1
Max. quantity: Optimal 15
Bring: Solid footwear and preferably long pants
We play for a whole period of activity, we make suggestions for new games and spend a lot of energy.
Period of activity: 1-2
Bring: Filled drinking bottle
Here the creative abilities of the scouts are challenged. There is the possibility of batik dyeing of clothes, leather work, cutting in soapstone, knitting/braiding, felting, etc. We have a wide range of examples and materials, but of course we are also happy to be inspired by your own ideas.
Activity period: 1 period per krea activity is recommended. Batik can be advantageously combined with another creative activity due to waiting time.
Bring: If you want to make batik, you must bring a white T-shirt or similar in cotton, or you can buy a Kulsø T-shirt for the activity.
Here is the opportunity to use the skills you have learned from home, or have them refreshed. Maybe we should build a house in the forest, make races with A-bucks or something completely different... At this activity, only the imagination sets the limits.
Period of activity: 1-2
In the area around Kulsø we have a number of completed routes, of 5, 10 and 20 km., that are just right to start with. If you have special wishes, or maybe you are going on a longer hike or excursion, we are happy to help with suggestions and ideas. It may be useful to make it known before arriving at the camp (possibly for open tent day) so that we can find the best solution for you.
Period of activity: 1+
Bring: Good hiking shoes, water canister, compass

GPS (Kulsø råder over et begrænset antal)
Aktivitetsperiode: 1
Max. antal: Optimalt max. 20
Her skal spejdernes kreative evner udfordres.
Aktivitetsperiode: 1
Max antal: Optimalt 8, max. 12
Medbring: Fornuftige sko
