Who are we?

We are a scout center and association that gives scouts, companies and individuals a raw and lifelike experience in and around Kulsøen pioneer shelters.

Raw Nature Experiences

We operate our “Modern Primitive” camp sites at Kulsø Scout Center, to give children and adults a real nature experience, filled with fun experiences, history and a little green wisdom.

The Inner Coal Sea Pioneer

Our cabins and shelters have a long history, and we are proud every time people thank you for an experience that comes so close to your inner Kulsøpionér!

Kulsø Spejdercenter is part of the Danish Scout Corps. Det Danske Spejderkorps is a children's and youth movement that develops children and young people into awake and independent people.

We support the work by providing outdoor facilities and lovely activities for groups and visitors - you don't even have to be a scout at all.

And who runs it all?

We do,

the red/white checkered nails

Kulsø Scouting Center is operated by nailers. A nail is also what maintains a joint by, for example, coal sepioning. We see ourselves as those who “stick together” in the place and activities.

We are known for the red/white checkered scarf and the passion for Scouting.

We have three main functions

! 1

Ensure the economic management and rental of the area.

! 2

Maintain the facilities and buildings of the area so that they appear in good quality to the guests.

! 3

Offer activities for Scout Groups as well as activities and courses for Scout Leaders so that they gain new inspiration and knowledge that can be applied at home in the Scout Groups.

The history of Kulsø Scouting Center

The area has since 1963-1964 been the pioneer site of the Boy Scouts and coal island espionage is the Scouts' name for wooden loop where no nails, sheds or ropes are used to gather the wood.

We are nails of many different ages right from the young of 16, to the families of children and the more experienced. You can get nailed from the age of 16.

As nails, there is an opportunity to participate on your own terms. We have both tasks with the organization of activities, maintenance of the area and the more administrative aspects of finances, management and rental.

Our focus area is nature, water and tree climbing, so if you come with experience and interest in these, you have the opportunity to live and develop it at Kulsø Spejdercenter.
